Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 - Service manual > Seat Latch Assembly on Frame

• Locate seat latch on frame with the cable towards the RH side. Align mounting holes and tighten with 2 Nos. Hex socket screws (M6) (a).

• Route the cable assembly (a) through frame and locate cable outer into slot in utility box and gently press in place.

Rider Seat Assembly on Frame

• Insert front locking tab of the seat (a) into bracket and frame in the fuel tank.
• Ensure lock pin of center of the seat is aligned to the seat lock and gently press to lock the seat.

Side Panel RH

• Locate side panel RH into frame and lock in its position.
• Insert ignition key (a) into side panel RH (b) and turn in clockwise direction to lock RH side panel.
