Breather Hose Connection to Breather Box to Air Filter

• Insert the shorter end of hose (b) on the tube in breather box (c).
• Position the clip (a) on hose correctly.

• Locate the other end of hose (b) on the tube in air filter box (c) and position the clip (a) over the breather hose correctly.

Spark Plug Suppressor Caps

Spark Plug Suppressor Caps on LH and RH Cylinder Heads

• Locate spark plug suppressor cap (a) on spark plug in LH cylinder head (b).

• Locate spark plug suppressor cap (a) on spark plug in RH cylinder head (b).

Starter Motor Connections

• Connect starter motor negative (-) cable (a) to terminal.
• Assemble spring washer and 2 Nos. Hex flange head bolts (M6) (b) into terminal and tighten firmly.
• Slide protective cap over terminal on starter motor.

• Connect positive (+) cable (a) to starter motor terminal. Assemble Hex nut (M6) (b) and tighten firmly, duly ensuring the cable/terminal does not rotate.

Magneto/Side Stand Switch Connectors

• Connect magneto sensor connector (a) located on rear bottom of engine (b).

• Connect side stand switch connector (a) located on rear top of engine (b).

Exhaust Pipe on Cylinder Head RH

• Locate new gaskets (a) into the LH and RH exhaust ports inside cylinder head. Ensure they are seated correctly.

• Locate exhaust pipe RH (a) into the exhaust manifold (b) on cylinder head RH, duly ensuring flange mounting holes are located correctly on the studs in cylinder head.

• Ensure bracket on exhaust pipe bottom is aligned to mounting hole on frame on RH.
• Assemble 2 Nos. Hex nuts (M8) (a) on studs and tighten to specified torque.

• Assemble Hex flange head bolt (M8) (a) along with washer cup and Hex nut (M8) (b) and tighten to specified torque.

Exhaust Pipe on Cylinder Head LH

• Locate new gaskets (a) into the LH exhaust port inside cylinder head. Ensure they are seated correctly.

• Assemble 2 Nos. Hex nuts (M8) (a) on the LH cylinder head top and bottom and tighten to specified torque.

• Assemble Hex flange head bolt (M8) (a) along with washer cup and hex nut (M8) and tighten to specified torque.

Silencer LH on Exhaust Pipe

• Ensure mounting clamp (a) on silencer (b) and is sufficiently loose.
• Assemble new gasket (c) on exhaust pipe and locate silence on exhaust pipe.
• Duly ensure rear mounting bracket of silencer is aligned to the mounting hole of frame LH.

• Align silencer mounting bracket hole to main frame mounting hole.
• Insert Hex head bolt (M8) (a) into mounting bracket (b) along with washer and nut (c). Hold nut with suitable tool and tighten bolt to specified torque.

• Hold Hex head bolt (M8) (a) on clamp (b) and tighten nut (c).
